Checking in from NAPT Venetian

I’m sitting here in the media room at the Venetian, after doing a few interviews over the last couple hours.

I feel like I have been really lazy lately when it comes to every aspect of my life except for poker.

Since arriving in Vegas, I have been sleeping about 10-12 hours a night, which has been great by the way. While I was in LA I was getting some of the worst sleep ever, only sleeping 4 hours or so a night.

I played the NAPT main event on Saturday and made it to Day 2 with 41k in chips which was a little bit below average stack.

NAPT Venetian Day 2 and Sunday Report

Day two of the Venetian was short lived for me.

In the first level of the day I 4bet jammed from the cutoff with A Q for ~38k at 500/1000 against an aggressive young player on the button. He had completely married his 6 6 for most of his stack, and it held up and busted me.

It could have been worse, though. At least I was able to get into the special Sunday donkaments that were running, since I busted right around 1pm Pacific time!

I rushed back to my apartment since the room I was stuck with has ridiculously spotty internet and grinded out the remainder of the session. Here are the results:
