Today was a pretty rough session, although it definitely could have been worse. I felt like I had been playing well all day but just wasn’t able to get anything going.

I was done registering and down to my last four tables with nothing to show for the day except one min-cash in the Stars $109 cubed. As usual I refused to give up and managed to get something going in a few tournaments at once.

I had a huge stack in the nightly $20k guaranteed on Lock Poker, but ended up fizzling out and busting on the final table bubble with 7-7 against 8-8.

I went deep in one of my favorite ridiculously tough tournaments again, the $200+rebuys. I managed to nearly final table bubble that one too!  

I became shortstacked and shoved 7-7 over the top of someone’s open shorthanded at the final two tables. The board ran out completely clean through the turn and he rivered a Queen.

My last hope for the day was the Sunday 500 … which is probably my favorite online tournament ever. Of course, the fact that I had my biggest online win in the same event makes probably me a little biased.

We were playing shorthanded with three tables left when I moved in with A-K against Steve “PiKappRaider” Burkholder’s 10-10. I flopped an Ace, but he turned a ten to leave me drawing dead and end my Sunday session.

Oh well, there’s always next week!
